O.K. not bad! i expect great things from you
however, i have a few comments:
you don't have a very good transition at 0:40 or at 1:07.. it just jumps to a different melody / beat much too quickly. work on getting that together.
at 1:33 its a little better, but still doesn't work as nicely as it could
2:12 again. the transition needs a lot of work. again at 2:40
3:07 again. 3:33 too. the ending at 3:50 was also way too abrupt
in short, i enjoy all of the individual sections, but they do not flow well together.
it sounds as if you composed a lot of different pieces of music then just stuck them together. you need to work on the piece as a whole, rather than focusing on just the sounds of each section, which is quite nice.
also each of these sections follow a very similar pattern. you introduce the melody and the general sound of the section, then a few measures later, you add simple drums. trying to vary this up a little would make it a lot more enjoyable.
i think this song and you have a lot of potential, seeing as this is one of your first songs. however, a lot of work can be done. each individual section sounds really great! but the song is not a song as a whole, but rather, sounds like a compilation of a lot of different pieces. try working on the piece as a whole. it needs an intro, body, climax, and conclusion.. more of a defined structure.
